Mission Statement

The Greater Rochester Area Payroll Association, Inc. a chapter of the American Payroll Association (APA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization centered on providing education to payroll and human resources professionals. 

Our responsibilities as professionals are to accurately pay record and report the wages of our workforce to state, local and federal government agencies on a daily, monthly, quarterly and annual basis.  To accomplish this goal, we offer the following activities:

• Monthly meetings with guest speakers to address payroll, accounting and human resources issues.  Monthly social hour precedes the meeting where networking occurs with an open discussion of work related topics.
• Payroll certification review courses for anyone whose goal is to achieve professional distinction as a Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC).

Seminars partnered with our vendors to update us on changing laws, technology and services to enhance our job skills and value to our employers
